My name is Kate and I'm a 28 year old single mother of two gorgeous little girls. I've struggled with weight my whole life. I crossed into the 200's in the ninth grade and have stayed in the 200's my entire adult life until my second pregnancy when I crossed over into the 300's.
I gave birth to my second daughter on
September 28th 2012. I actually weighed more when I got home from
the hospital then when I went in. I peaked at around 325 and stayed there for 9 months until I decided to make a change.
I started by cutting out alcohol and drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. The weight started to come off and after a few weeks I decided to kick it into gear, add exercise and calorie monitoring and get serious about living healthy and losing weight.
